Product Description
Permatex Ultra Copper RTV, 3 oz is a single-component RTV silicone gasket maker for formed-in-place sealing in high-temperature mechanical assemblies. The non-sag paste cures by atmospheric moisture to a flexible silicone rubber gasket, becoming tack-free in about 1 hour and fully cured in 24 hours. After 7 days at 25 deg C and 50% relative humidity, typical elongation is greater than 350% and tensile strength is greater than 1.4 N/mm2. The cured gasket is rated from -54 to 316 deg C continuously and to 371 deg C intermittently. It can be used as a gasket maker or gasket dressing on supported flange assemblies.
