PERMABOND HH167
Harmonization Code : 3403.19 | Lubricating Preparations (With 70% or More Petroleum Oils) For Automotive and Other Uses
Main features
- Worn-Shaft and Damaged-Feature Metal Repair
- 0.5 mm Gap Filling for Worn Metal Interfaces
- Very-High-Strength Anaerobic Retention
Product Description
Permabond HH167 is a high-viscosity anaerobic retaining compound for metal repair and gap-filling retention in close-fitting metal assemblies. It is used to rebuild worn shafts and repair damaged threads, keyways and splines, with a maximum gap fill of 0.5 mm. The paste cures at room temperature when confined between mating metal surfaces and reaches typical handling strength on M10 steel in 15 minutes at 23 deg C. After cure, HH167 develops typical 32 MPa shear strength on a steel collar-and-pin test to ISO 10123, making it a very-high-strength option for repair and retention work.
Key features
- Metal repair for worn interfaces: Repairs worn shafts, damaged threads, keyways and splines while retaining close-fitting metal parts.
- 0.5 mm gap-filling retention: Fills gaps up to 0.5 mm for worn or damaged metal interfaces.
- Very-high-strength cured retention: Typical shear strength is 32 MPa on a steel collar-and-pin test to ISO 10123.
Applications
Repair of worn shafts; repair of damaged threads, keyways and splines; retaining and gap filling of close-fitting metal parts.
