PERMABOND 825
Harmonization Code : 3910.00.00.90 | Silicones in Primary Forms; Others
Main features
- Thermal-Aging Bond Strength Retention
- Fast 5-20 Second Fixture
- Low-Viscosity 0.15 mm Gap Bonding
Product Description
PERMABOND 825 is a low-viscosity modified ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive combining rapid room-temperature cure with high-temperature and thermal-aging performance. Typical viscosity is 100 to 150 mPa s at 25 deg C with a maximum gap fill of 0.15 mm. Fixture strength develops in about 10 to 20 seconds on steel and 5 to 10 seconds on NBR, while full strength develops in 24 hours. The cured adhesive provides measured shear strength on mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and engineering plastics, and its bond-strength retention has been tested during thermal aging at 180 deg C.
Key features
- Thermal-Aging Bond Strength Retention: Bond-strength retention has been tested during thermal aging at 180 deg C.
- Fast Rubber and Metal Fixture: Fixture times range from 5 to 20 seconds across NBR, steel, and other specified substrates.
- 0.15 mm Gap Capability: Typical viscosity of 100 to 150 mPa s supports a maximum gap of 0.15 mm.
Applications
Bonding rubber, metals, and plastics where high-temperature and thermal-aging capability is required.
