- Synthetic PAO performance
- Food-grade
Product Description
MOLYKOTE L-1115FM is a high-performance food-grade ISO VG 150 PAO synthetic gear oil designed for gear, gearbox, and pump lubrication in food processing environments. The oil has a typical kinematic viscosity of 149 cSt at 40 deg C and 17.6 cSt at 100 deg C, with a viscosity index of 129. Formulated with a robust rust-and-oxidation (R&O), anti-wear (AW), and corrosion-inhibited additive package, it provides excellent gear protection and wear resistance. As part of the FM (Food Machinery) series, it is specifically formulated and NSF H1 certified to meet the rigorous demands of modern food and beverage manufacturing applications.
Key features
- ISO VG 150 Gear Oil: Typical viscosity is 149 cSt at 40 deg C, delivering a durable lubricant film for gears and pumps.
- Synthetic PAO Performance: Features a high viscosity index of 129 and excellent low-temperature pour point characteristics for reliable wide-temperature stability.
- Food-Grade Gear Lubrication: NSF H1 certified for safe and reliable use in food-processing machinery gears and gearboxes where incidental food contact may occur.
Applications
Gear, gearbox, and pump lubrication in food, beverage, meat, dairy, and pharmaceutical processing equipment where an ISO VG 150 synthetic food-grade oil is specified.
