LORD MAXLOK T6S

Main features

  • 6 to 9 Minute Work Time
  • 20 to 24 Minute Handling
  • Exact MX/T6S Cured Data

Product Description

LORD Maxlok T6S Acrylic Adhesive is a two-component structural acrylic adhesive used with LORD Maxlok MX accelerator for bonding supported metals and composites. Its off-white to tan paste formulation is part of the Maxlok S-series offered as an alternative to welding, brazing, riveting and other mechanical fastening methods in assemblies exposed to high impact or peel loads. T6S provides 6 to 9 minutes of working time and reaches handling strength in 20 to 24 minutes at 77 deg F (25 deg C). The non-sag system supports cartridge or automatic dispensing, while cured-system properties include tensile strength, elongation, modulus and glass transition temperature for the exact MX/T6S system.

Key features

  • Balanced T6S work time: Provides 6 to 9 minutes of working time and 20 to 24 minutes to handling strength at 77 deg F (25 deg C).
  • Non-sag structural placement: Supports cartridge or automatic application on vertical and overhead bond areas.
  • Cured-system properties: Cured MX/T6S properties include tensile strength, elongation, modulus and glass transition temperature.

Applications

Applications include structural bonding of supported metals and composites as an alternative to selected mechanical fastening methods.
