Product Description
LOCTITE SI 5049 is a one-part, thixotropic acetoxy silicone paste that cures by room-temperature vulcanization for potting, sealing, and coating applications. The sealant reaches a tack-free surface in 8 to 10 minutes at 25 deg C and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity. After 7 days under the same conditions, cured material has at least 400% elongation at break, at least 0.8 N/mm^2 tensile strength, and Shore A hardness of at least 11. It permits water contact 2 hours after application and has a stated temperature range of -34 to 204 deg C.
