Product Description
LOCTITE LB 8209 is a one-component, non-curing PFPE/PTFE synthetic grease for bearings, valves, and other lubrication points exposed to severe chemical environments. The material is chemically resistant and is used over a typical application operating range of -26 to 260 deg C. Its PFPE base oil has a viscosity of 810 cSt at 20 deg C by ASTM D445. The grease is NLGI Class 2 with unworked penetration of 265 to 295 in 1/10 mm, and specific gravity is 1.89 to 1.93 at 25 deg C. Oil separation is 3.0% weight loss after 30 hours at 99 deg C by ASTM D6184.
