Main features
- Screen-Printable Flexible Heater Ink
- Self-Regulating Low-Voltage Heating
- PET PEN and PI Printing
Product Description
LOCTITE ECI 8120 E&C is a one-component positive-temperature-coefficient carbon ink for screen-printed low-voltage heating elements. The thermoplastic paste is printable on PET, PEN, and PI and self-regulates around 105 deg C, with a maximum operating temperature of 110 deg C. A recommended drying cycle is 10 minutes at 140 deg C using hot air or infrared. After drying, the ink provides a PTC ratio of 15 and is intended for self-regulating printed-heater designs below 50 V.
Key features
- Screen-printable PTC ink: Carbon-filled thermoplastic paste is designed for printed self-regulating heater elements.
- Low-voltage self-regulation: Heater designs operate below 50 V and self-regulate around 105 deg C.
- Flexible-film substrates: Printable on PET, PEN, and PI substrates.
Applications
Applications include screen-printed self-regulating low-voltage heating elements on PET, PEN, and PI films.
