Main features
- Methyl Cyanoacrylate Chemistry
- Fast Fixture Speed
- Chemical Resistance
Product Description
LOCTITE® 85H™ is a one-part methyl cyanoacrylate adhesive formulated for bonding metals to rubber, as well as ceramic and ferrite materials. This low-viscosity adhesive cures with atmospheric moisture and develops functional strength rapidly, making it suitable for close-fitting parts. LOCTITE® 85H™ offers resistance to many solvents and chemicals and is designed for applications where fast fixture speed and reliable substrate bonding are important.
Key features
- Methyl cyanoacrylate chemistry: One-part adhesive that requires no mixing before application.
- Fast fixture speed: Achieves fixture time of ≤15 seconds on EPDM under ISO 4587 test conditions.
- Chemical resistance: Resistant to many solvents and chemicals for demanding bonding applications.
Applications / Suitable for
- Metal-to-rubber bonding
- Ceramic component bonding
- Ferrite material bonding
- Close-fitting part assembly
