Main features
- 6-to-35-GHz Microwave Absorption
- Flexible Non-Conductive Silicone Sheet
- Good Fit for RF Structures
Product Description
Eccosorb MFS-124 is a thin, flexible, high-loss, electrically non-conductive silicone elastomer microwave absorber. The material operates across a typical 6 to 35 GHz range and is engineered to reduce surface currents, cavity resonance, coupling, and reflections in microwave devices. Its flexible sheet form conforms to compound curves and is available in multiple thicknesses with or without pressure-sensitive adhesive. Typical properties include a -40 to 170 deg C service range, Shore A hardness above 70, 4.2 g/cm^3 density, and 0.865 W/(m K) thermal conductivity for RF structures requiring thermal stability and electrical isolation.
Key features
- 6-to-35-GHz absorption: The typical operating frequency range is 6 to 35 GHz.
- Flexible silicone elastomer: The non-conductive sheet conforms to contoured and compound-curved surfaces.
Applications
Surface-current and cavity-resonance reduction in terminations, loads, attenuators, microwave circuits, waveguides, and transmission systems.
