Main features
- UV-Curable Epoxy Chemistry
- High-Temperature Performance
- Low Outgassing and Chemical Resistance
Product Description
LOCTITE ECCOBOND UV 3000 is a clear, UV-curable epoxy adhesive designed for high-throughput assembly operations. The material cures through ultraviolet light using a cationic cure mechanism and is commonly used for glass bonding and optoelectronic lens attachment applications. With a medium viscosity of approximately 5,300 cP, low outgassing characteristics, chemical resistance, and thermal stability at temperatures up to 200°C, it can support demanding bonding applications where optical clarity, environmental resistance, and elevated-temperature performance are important considerations.
Key features
- UV-curable epoxy chemistry: Supports rapid processing using UV exposure for high-throughput manufacturing environments.
- High-temperature performance: Can withstand exposure to temperatures as high as 200°C.
- Low outgassing and chemical resistance: Suitable for applications where contamination control and environmental durability are important.
Applications / Suitable for
- Glass bonding
- Lens attachment
- Optoelectronic assemblies
