BOSTIK LADH1255

Main features

  • No Two-Part Mixing Required
  • Moisture-Curing Bond Development
  • Automotive Interior Assembly

Product Description

Bostik LADH1255 is a one-component moisture-curing solvent adhesive for automotive interior bonding and assembly. The blue liquid uses a modified styrene-rubber base and has about 21% nonvolatile content with viscosity of approximately 200 cP at 25 deg C. Its one-component format avoids combining separate adhesive components before application, while moisture cure defines the bond-development mechanism. LADH1255 combines liquid one-component handling with moisture-curing bond development for automotive interior bonding and assembly operations.

Key features

  • One-component handling: No separate adhesive components are combined before application.
  • Moisture-curing system: Moisture cure is the defined bond-development mechanism.
  • Defined liquid properties: Blue modified styrene-rubber liquid with about 21% nonvolatile content and approximately 200 cP viscosity at 25 deg C.

Applications

Automotive interior bonding and assembly.

Technical Specifications

General Properties
Appearance
Appearance at room temperature.
Blue Liquid
Chemistry Type
Base Polymer: Modified Styrene Rubber | Solvent: Methylcyclohexane, Cyclohexane, and MEK

0.816 g/cm3
Thermal Properties
Flash Point
The flashpoint of a solvent is the lowest possible temperature at which it can vaporize to form an ignitable vapor. Flashpoint is often confused with “autoignition temperature”, which is the temperature at which a solvent ignites without an ignition source.
10 °C
Physical Properties
Viscosity
Viscosity is a measurement of a fluid’s resistance to flow. Viscosity is commonly measured in centiPoise (cP). One cP is defined as the viscosity of water and all other viscosities are derived from this base. MPa is another common unit with a 1:1 conversion to cP. A product like honey would have a much higher viscosity -around 10,000 cPs- compared to water. As a result, honey would flow much slower out of a tipped glass than water would. The viscosity of a material can be decreased with an increase in temperature in order to better suit an application
200 mPa.s
