BOSTIK F10-316

Main features

  • Fast-Curing Thermoset Film
  • Good Flow for Flexible Constructions
  • Fabric Foam Film and Foil Bonding

Product Description

Bostik F10-316 is a fast-curing polyester thermoset adhesive film for laminating fabrics, foams, films, and foils. The one-component film is supplied at a nominal 2 mil dry thickness and is formulated for flexible constructions requiring good flow during bonding. It provides low-temperature activation for initial lamination and develops a thermoset bond when the glue line reaches at least 300 deg F. Typical cure guidance is about five minutes at 300 deg F, with faster cure at higher temperatures. The cured adhesive provides water resistance for washable flexible assemblies.

Key features

  • Fast thermoset cure: Typical cure time decreases as bonding temperature increases from 300 to 350 deg F.
  • Flow for flexible constructions: The film is suited to flexible applications where good adhesive flow is important.
  • Multi-material lamination: Adheres to fabrics, foams, films, and foils in laminated constructions.

Applications

Lamination and bonding of fabrics, foams, films, and foils.
