- Extended Working and Pot Life
- Excellent Hot Tack
Product Description
Bostik Thermogrip 9438 combines very high heat resistance, strong adhesion to a variety of substrates, and long working and pot life in a hot melt adhesive for automotive and general product assembly. Excellent hot tack is paired with a suggested running temperature of 356 to 392 deg F and a 305 deg F softening point. Typical automotive uses include door panel bonding, headliner attachment, and package tray attachment. The product is selected where hot-melt processing requires both extended working time and heat-resistant bonded performance.
Key features
- Very high heat resistance: Designed for hot-melt bonding where elevated-temperature performance is a key selection factor.
- Long working window: Long working time and long pot life provide additional assembly time.
- Excellent hot tack: The hot melt develops excellent tack for automotive and product-assembly bonding.
Applications
Automotive and general product-assembly bonding, including door panels, headliners, and package trays.
