Product Description
BONDERITE S-ST 6776 is a low-odor paint-remover family for stripping epoxies, epoxy primers, polyurethanes, and similar coatings from Henkel-listed metal substrates. The family separates application behavior by variant: S-ST 6776 THIN is intended for dip application, while S-ST 6776 LO is the thickened, adherent version for surfaces that benefit from greater cling. The products can be used on aluminum, mild steel, cast iron, and titanium, but the documented family scope excludes high-strength steel and magnesium. The formulation family contains no methylene chloride, chlorinated solvents, phenols, chromates, ammonia, or amines.
Key features
- THIN and LO Process Options: THIN is designated for dip application, while LO provides a thickened, adherent format.
- Catalyzed-Coating Removal: Targets epoxies, epoxy primers, polyurethanes, and similar coating systems.
- Methylene-Chloride-Free Chemistry: The family is formulated without methylene chloride and other listed chlorinated solvents.
Applications
Family-level stripping of epoxies, epoxy primers, polyurethanes, and similar coatings from listed aluminum, mild steel, cast iron, and titanium substrates; THIN is for dip application and LO is the thickened variant.
