  • Room-Temperature Dry-Film Cure
  • 0.06 to 0.09 Static Friction
  • Spray, Dip, or Brush Application

Product Description

BONDERITE S-FN 329 ACHESON is a fast-drying, resin-bonded PTFE dry-film lubricant supplied as a translucent liquid concentrate. It is designed for low-friction, light-load repetitive service on materials including wood, metal, rubber, plastic, and glass. The coating cures at room temperature and can be applied by spray, dip, or brush after dilution with n-propyl acetate as required. A recommended product-to-diluent ratio of 3:1 to 1:1 supports application adjustment, while the cured film has a static coefficient of friction of 0.06 to 0.09 at an optimum coating thickness of 5 to 18 um.

Key features

  • Room-Temperature Dry-Film Cure: The resin-bonded PTFE coating develops at room temperature.
  • Low Static Friction: The cured film has a documented static coefficient of friction of 0.06 to 0.09.
  • Flexible Application Methods: Can be applied by spray, dip, or brush with dilution adjusted as needed.

Applications

Dry-film lubrication for sealed-system components, solenoid plungers, window guides, moving furniture parts, storage bins, tools, and other documented light-load moving parts.
