Product Description
3M Weatherban Ribbon Sealant PF 5422 is a black, cotton-thread-reinforced synthetic-rubber sealant supplied as a tacky 3.18 mm preformed ribbon on a release liner. The 100% solids, solvent-free material is pressed into place by hand and remains repositionable during application. It stays positioned on vertical or overhead surfaces and retains application tack down to 40 deg F for both sealant and substrate. The ribbon forms gasket-like seals in glass bedding, frames, panels, gutters, and mechanically fastened metal seams. It is not resistant to oil, gasoline, or solvents, which limits its use where those exposures occur.
