Product Description
3M Scotch-Weld Low Odor Acrylic Adhesive DP8825NS is a low-odor, non-sag two-part acrylic adhesive for bonding metals and plastics, including slightly oily surfaces. It mixes 10:1 by volume and weight and contains 0.010-inch glass beads for bondline control. Typical work life is 22 to 24 minutes at 23 deg C. At 22 deg C, typical open time is 21 minutes, and structural strength of 6.9 MPa overlap shear develops in 50 to 56 minutes. Typical full cure takes 24 hours at 23 deg C to reach at least 80% of ultimate aluminum overlap shear. Typical aluminum overlap shear is 3,000 psi after seven days at 23 deg C with light abrasion, solvent cleaning, and a 0.25 mm bondline.
